Thanks Alex. I got the motors responding correctly with Betaflight, have to look at tutorials for the next steps.
Hey guys, I wound up connecting the rx signal wire to Tx3 but I was unsure how to tell the flight controller to use that one to read the signal. So on the weekend I took my transmitter and quad to the LHS where the resident wiz got everything reading right and running.
So I still have much learning to do and will continue with that, but I ran the quad, a little hovering and a little LOS flying in my front yard and everything seems to be running well. At this point I only have a ground station but soon will pull the trigger on some of the new FS HDO goggles. Thanks again unmannedtech and DoomedFPV!
