I am trying to install betaflight on my new quad which has a CC3D flight controller and when I plug it into my computer and try and flash the firmware it says "No response from the bootloader, programming failed
Please, can someone give me some advice on what to do?

You need to upgrade bootloader first in libre pilot. if you have done this the cc3d needs power 1st befor plugging in USB cable.

i started a few years ago with cc3d and have never had any luck flashing betaflight to them.
by all means give it a go you may get some luck i never got.
If you dont get any luck betaflight FC’s are so cheep now just stop trying to flog that dead horse.
