Choosing compatible cameras and transmitter/receivers

Product Name:
Brand:
I have a tmotor mini f7 fc. I need compatible products:
A transmitter and receiver
A camera
Does the f7 require an analogue video signal or will it also work with digital video? It appears to be compatible with on screen viewing (digital or analogue)
Do some (or all) cameras require a separate RF channel?
I’d prefer to use the f7 6 way mini connector for video and Rx Tx.
Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forums! You have asked quite a few open ended questions, so here is my attempt to answer them, if you have any more specific questions, just let me know and I will be happy to explan.

The Tmtotor F7 flight controller (https://www.unmannedtechshop.co.uk/product/t-motor-f7-pro/) is compatible with pretty much any receiver, and FPV system, its just a matter of connecting them the right way around.

If you are looking for a good FPV system currently I would suggest you consider the walksnail system - https://www.unmannedtechshop.co.uk/product/walksnail-avatar-hd-goggles-x/ This is because it the most versatile FPV system that lets you fly on anything from whoops to full size drones!

In terms of a TX and RX, then I would go for an 2.4Ghz ELRS system, starting with something like the radiomaster pocket.

As long as the flight controller has an OSD module on it, then it can work with an analog FPV system too, but even if it doesn’t have an analog OSD chip, you can still fly it with analog, you just dont get any OSD overlay on your analog FPV feed.

Do some (or all) cameras require a separate RF channel? - this depends on the FPV system, but generally yes each drone will need to have its own video signal on a specific channel.

Any other questions, please let us know!
