The stick seems to be completely dead. Usually when connected to a usb cable, these devices show M5Stick screen. This one doesn’t. I’ve tried multiple cables, nothing works (while other k210 boxes work without any issue).

I’m sorry to hear you are struggling with your M5Stick. Would you be able to send a short video, showing the issues. If you have another M5Stick which is working, plugging that in and then this one to how it is not the unit would help?

Hi David,
The video would show exactly the same thing, a black screen (instead of the M5STICK logo) so it’s quite pointless. I don’t have another m5stick but different k210 units like Sipeed Maix Cube - the same hardware, just larger screen.
Are you able to replace the M5Stick or exchange it for some some other k210 unit?

I have not heard back from their support channel, so have followed up with an email to their sales contact which we use.
Hopefully we get a response soon, China has just had a national week long holiday, so many companies and working through a backlog of work.

Unfortunately, the videos/guides didn’t help at all. The device itself isn’t booting at all and isn’t being recognized by any system I’ve tried to connect it to.

Thanks for testing out a few things but it seems that this unit is faulty, but as its marked as discontinued our our system we do not have any other units to send out as a replacement so my only suggestion is to offer you a refund for the item. No need to return it.
I just wanted to confirm if you are happy with this. As perhaps if to dismantle it you could spot something that could of been damaged like a bad connection on the LCD or something? Just let me know and I can get the refund issued for you.

The time it takes for the refund to reach you will depend on the payment method you used:

PayPal - you should have the refund in your PayPal account now.

Credit Card - will take 1-5 days to show back on your card depending on your bank processing times.

I apologise for this, it looks like our store did not push the refund through to our payment gateway so I have gone and done that manually now, so I apologise for the delays with this as everything was showing refunded on our side!
