Motor 4 not functional, the other 3 motors spin up fine.
Symptoms:
- Motor 4 is not functioning, the other 3 motors work.
- Betaflight shows motor 4 having a 100 telemetry error.
- BHeliSuite32 shows only ESC 1, 2, & 3.
- On power up the all motors give 3 beeps indicating the esc outputs and motors are working.
- The subsequent 2 beeps however are only present on motors 1, 2 & 3.
What I’ve tried/tested:
- Checked Betaflight config, mixer is set correctly to Quad X, protocol is set to DSHOT600, all 4 motor sliders show up.
- Checked FC to ESC cable for issues.
- Tried another FC to ESC cable.
- Swapped two of the FC to ESC signal wires around, which resulted in motor 4 functioning and the other motor exhibiting the same issues that motor 4 was previously presenting.
- There’s no short to GND on any of the FC to ESC signal wires.
- Flashed to latest Betaflight 4.5.1 firmware.
Finally, I tried another T-Motor Mini F7 which works perfectly.

Hello there,
Apologies for the delay.
We’ve received additional instructions from the manufacturer regarding your T**-Motor Mini F7 + F45 Stack**. They did mention telemetry errors are usually caused by poor wire contact.
They’ve recommended to check if the wiring pins are crooked. Additionally, they requested photos of the flight control and ESC wiring sockets.

I’ve checked the wiring pins and the overall socket - they look OK to me. I’ve provided some photos of the FC showing the socket.
As I noted previously, I tried another T-Motor Mini F7 FC which works perfectly. I have fitted that and removed this unit. As far as I’m concerned that eliminates the possibility of an issue with the ESC. Therefore, I’m sorry, but I’m not going disassemble the quad to get photos of the ESC sockets. I’ve already spent quite some time on trying to diagnose this and can’t afford to waste more.
I’d like a refund for the value of the FC. I have notified you 8 days after receiving my order. At the end of the day my contract is with yourselves not any other party.
