Order Number: 693393
I recently purchased a “Sub250 1s Nanofly20 Walksnail HD 2 inch Freestyle Quadcopter” with a crossfire receiver from your store. Initially, everything seemed to be functioning correctly. However, when I armed the quadcopter for the first time, I heard a small pop, and now the back left motor does not turn.
Sorry to hear about that, if you heard a loud pop then its probable that a mosfet may of burned out!
Could you let me know what battery you were using and also if you can have a look at your fc to see if you can see anything burned on it add some close up photos showing this so we can pass it onto sub250 to try get a warranty replacement for you?
I have taken out the 4 screws and after a small investigation I have found a burnt out component. I used a GNB 530mah 1s LiHV battery that was charged to exactly 4.35V.
Here is a picture of the battery i used and pictures of the flight controller.
Hi
Sub250 have confirmed that they can send us a replacement FC with our next shipment from them, so would you be happy with us sending you a new FC once we get it?
Hi
Does that mean I would have to solder the new flight controller to the rest of the electronics?
Yes, otherwise if you do not wish to do this, because you are still within our return period, you can always return the drone back to us for a refund .
Hello,
I am interested in knowing if soldering would void the warranty on a flight controller. Additionally, I would like to inquire about the process of receiving a fixed flight controller.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
Hi
Soldering will not void the warranty under the assumption its done correctly, as an example, if during soldering you melt a component, or accidentally connected the power cable the wrong way around and as a result damaged the board, then this will not be covered under warranty as this is considered user error.
As for repair, this is not possible for your drone, so the other option is to simply return it back to us for a refund. The reason for this is that given the low profit we make on this drone and cost in terms of our engineering time to properly configure and test the drone after FC replacement is not feasible for us at the moment.
Soldering and building is another part of what many people enjoy about this hobby, but I understand that you many not feel comfortable doing this, so then the best thing is to return the drone back to us for a refund!. You can find return information on our website here - https://www.unmannedtechshop.co.uk/returns/, on this situation you can use the prepaid return label link under the faulty returns section.
Kind Regards

Thank you very much! I am happy to pay for express shipping if that helps.
Hi John!
Unfortunately, as the item is being sent to us from the manufacturer we don’t have any control over the shipping times - though we’ll do what we can to get it to you ASAP!
Best regards,
