So this Chameleon Ti build using iNav is entertaining. What I’m noticing with the GPS unit (Beittian BN-880) is that it is running really really hot! I’ve checked the connections to see if there’s any shorting, and that they’re all connected correct (they are). Just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience with this unit?
gps don’t normally get hot.
Check for shorts and that its getting the correct voltage
Yeah GPS modules are not supposed to get hot at all, so it’s likely your unit is dead 
. But I would double check the connections as maybe that was the problem. But assuming you did connect it correctly, you should probably contact the shop you purchased it from to get a replacement
