Brand: Grove
I’ve had a Pi Zero WH running for while with a temperature sensor attached to the GPIO pins. I wanted to add more sensors, so I’ve attached the GrovePi hat, the green light flashes to indicate it’s booting and (according to my router) it’s getting an IP address, but I can no longer log in.
When I remove hat, it boots fine.
I’ve tried a few different USB sockets - 5v, different amps - but it doesn’t make a difference.
How many amps should it require?
Thanks.
Tried different power sources - individual plugs, multiplugs, computer usb, connecting power lead to USB socket - and reflashed SD card.
I’ve tried the board without hat and it boots. Without hat it also boots with USB hub connected with two USB Lan connections (it doesn’t need two, but they draw more power)
The hat on its own will not really draw any additional amps as its mostly just a PCB with cable routing to the grove connectors. (there is an MCU for I2C but current draw is minimal).
That said, I suggest you go over the install scrips as that is most likely the cause of your issue - see the wiki:
