New Taranis X9D Plus 2019 Binding Problems

I am very new to this, this is my first build. I have recently purchased a FrSky Taranis X9D Plus 2019 radio and was recommended a " TheFPV The R1 Frsky D16 Compatible Receiver" received. Here is a link to the receiver TheFPV R1F 2.4GHz Micro Receiver - Unmanned Tech UK FPV Shop

Following the instructions, I have configured my model on the X9D to mode D16 and then put it into bind mode. I then power up the RX holding down the bind button but it doesn’t bind. The RX instructions advise I should get a solid red LED and flashing green LED. But in my case, both LED’s are on solid.

How do I see what type of firmware I am running on the TX and RX ? I ask this as I am wondering if there is a firmware miss-match…

Can anyone offer any help please ?

it says on the products page the receiver only supports international firmware.
not sure about 2019 x9d as ive got older version, but i have always got both firmwares on my sd card as it easier to flash x9d than to flash receivers.
suffice to say i think 100% you have a firmware mismatch.

firmware was the issue, thank you. first time i flashed the RX to the LBT/EU version and it now works :slight_smile:
