No response apm 2.6

I just uploaded the eeprom clear programme using NORMAL arduino IDE ( not the gcc one.) to my apm 2.6 board and since then my apm is almost died. When i connect it only powers up and the green light glows but nothing happens other than that. tried to reflash it using Mission planner but it fails and tried to reflash it using arduino IDE (gcc) but nothing happens.

Did i destroy the board by uploading the eeprom clear programme??

You might want to try to burn the arduino bootloader onto the ATmel chip on your APM2.6 board as that could be the problem?
