  1. Check Firmware Version: Ensure that both your transmitter and the ExpressLRS module are running compatible firmware versions. Sometimes, mismatched versions can cause loading issues.

  2. Reinstall Lua Scripts: Try deleting the current Lua scripts from your transmitter and reinstalling them. Make sure you are using the latest version of the scripts compatible with your firmware.

  3. SD Card Check: Verify that your SD card is properly formatted and has enough space. Sometimes, a corrupted SD card can cause loading issues. Reformatting the card and reloading the necessary files might help. This is a very common issue so just check all is formatted accordingly and that the SD is not corrupt.

  4. Factory Reset: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, consider performing a factory reset on your transmitter. Please ensure you back up any important data before proceeding with this step.

  5. Consult the Manual: Refer to the user manual for any specific instructions related to Lua scripts and ExpressLRS setup.

Any chance I could just have the transmitter sent back for repair or replacement I am super busy at the moment and that would be more convenient for me.

We can definitely take a look at it for you, that’s not a problem. That’s why we have a team of technicians on-hand to assist.

Unfortunately, because we have such good technicians, word has spread and we are now sitting at about a 2 week backlog of work. So you would only get a response from us approximately 10 working days from when the controller arrives back at our warehouse.

The Problem

The loading screen gets stuck because the ExpressLRS configuration script cannot find an ELRS module to communicate with.

Solution Steps

1. Access Model Settings

  • Open your model list
  • Navigate to page 2 of the settings

2. Configure RF Module

  • Locate the RF module settings
  • You will see two options:
    • Internal RF Module
    • External RF Module

3. Enable CRSF Protocol

  • If using internal module:
    • Select the Internal RF Module
    • Press ENTER
    • Change the protocol to CRSF (Crossfire)
  • If using external module:
    • Follow the same steps but select External RF Module instead

4. Test the Script

  • Return to the system menu
  • Try running the ExpressLRS LUA script again
  • It should now load properly instead of getting stuck

The root cause of this issue is typically having both RF modules turned off, which prevents the LUA script from finding a module to communicate with.

Hi that’s the video i watched but still didn’t work I have not had chance to send the controller back but I think I have “bricked” my esc if I was to send it back could this be repaired also?

I have also just received my parcel and the wrong item has been sent again this is the second time the same item has been sent wrong.

Yes I ordered the goggles v2 antenna.

Can you send a quick photo showing the antenna, and also the barcode on the package so we can make sure to resolve the issue on our side to avoid this issue going forward!

Sorry again about this, we will get it resolved for you I just want to make sure the issue is fixed before we go ahead and send a new one to you, otherwise we run the risk of the warehouse team having the same issue, especially if we have an incorrect barcode/label issue.

I have checked again and I think the issue is that the Goggle 2 and Goggles V2 basically have the same barcode label, so this has caused a bunch of confusion, so what I will do is issue the refund for the antenna and if you can please return them again that would be much appreciated (you can use our prepaid returns label service again), however if you can use them just let me know and I can offer a partial refund for you to keep the ones you have.

Dont worry about the photos as we have resolved the issue internally now. Please just let me know how you wish to proceed with this re a refund or a partial refund and you keep the antennas.

If anyone else has this issue… I had one just die like this too (from another UK store) with no way to fix, even they couldn’t fix it.

I tried all of these solutions recommended.
If none work it could just be that sometimes Jumpers Quality control is not as good as Radiomaster.

The pocket is similar sized in some ways other than the smaller gimbals.
