I have changed only my rates to try and solve as was advised not to tamper as may result in void warrenty this is a bind and fly quad

Hi thanks for the quick reply and my partner was unable to get the blackbox log it’s either not setup or he doesn’t know how to do it it’s the bind and fly version but have done some research and seems it is a known problem there is a few threads in redit about it , I’ll attach a picture of the black box page in betaflight if you have instructions on how to get the file to send would be happy to follow but as we’ve said it seems this is a known issue if we can return and purchase a different quad would be grateful as it seems other people with the same issue have tried to trouble shoot to no avail. and all he does is freestyle so flips and rolls are a must ,
Just to follow up we don’t want money back we just want a quad with no issues that can freestyle and don’t mind adding more money for a more expensive quad if we can send this back and have the price deducted he currently has around 12 different drones and none of them has ever had this issue and as stated seems quite a few people have had this issue it can fly and do everything fine but as soon as you flip or roll fast it cuts out

We just heard back from HappyModel, they seem to believe it could be caused by an issue with ESC firmware. Can you please reflash the below mentioned firmware and then test the drone again?
This from HappyModel:
Please ask the client try to reflash esc firmware to bluejay esc 48khz v0.19.2 , then have some more test and keep us update.

Ok we will try this if it does not work can we send it back ? Was supposed to be bind and fly this is quite a head ache thanks for the help I’ll look for the thread if you still want it but seems happy Model are aware , thanks again

This issue was related to previous firmware versions so it should be resolved now, but after reflashing thee firmware the issue should go away. Also since these drones use open source firmware (both ESC and FC firmware) this is not directly controlled by ourselves or Happymodel, so from time to time there are some minor bigs and issues that are usually resolved, its something that is constantly improving but is something that does happen when you are on the bleeding edge of pushing what is essentially mobile phone electronics to the max. All of thee firmware is contributed by people who love working on this in their free time at no cost, so sometimes there are some teething issues, but has come a very long way since the start.

And just to add, if you still have the issue after updating the firmware to latest version, then we can talk with Happymodel again as then it could be related to a hardware fault so we should be able to get a replacement FC for you if they agree that is the cause of the issue

Thanks and sorry to hear about that, after flashing did you set any of the parameters on the ESC again? Could you send over a screenshot to show the version etc, just to confirm, but I think the next thing after this would be to send it back to us to check/replace under warranty once we get confirmation from Happymodel!

Thank you and as we’ve said we have ordered quite alot from you guys and it’s all been great will be ordering more soon aswell it’s just frustrating that if we had known the crux had these issues would have avoided it and purchased a different quad altogether also people in that thread we previously sent had a new fc sent from Happy Model for the same issues and it didn’t resolve it so rather concerned this is going to drag out even longer for a quad that was ment to be bind and fly has left a bad taste in the mouth for the crux altogether

Alex removed the images you posted as they do have some of your personal details on them, Dronetrest is a publicly accessible platform, so didn’t want to leave them up there.
Anyway, your refund for the drone has now been completed and you should see the funds in your account soon.
The time it takes for the refund to reach you will depend on the payment method you used:
