No I have only just tried to use the steady view as was only flying close range.

We have had an update from Skyzone, and they are saying its not an issue with the goggles themself, but rather a compatibility issue.
The the message from Skyzone Below:
As steadyview mode only support skyzone steadyview x receiver and steadyview+elrs receiver ,While NORMAL and RACING mode can support skyzone steadyview receiver .
