Order Number: #704525
Product Name: Frsky Twin Lite Pro 2.4ghz Tx Module (Accst, Access, Elrs, Tw)
Brand: Frsky
I think the module might be faulty as critical rssi warnings are announced at approx 250m even with 500mW power setting.
The module was flashed to the latest firmware yesterday v3.0.1 and the first chance to go flying was today. The range check seemed about right.
The time before when I went flying everything seemed to function correctly.
In case it was a firmware issue, I re-flashed it back to v1.0.7 . I do not remember if that was the version it was previously though.
I have a ImmersionRC RF Power Meter v2. The output from one of the antennas seems very low. 0-4dB while the other antenna outputs 15-19dB.
I swapped the antennas around but it made no difference to the side that was low output.
I made a couple of videos, one with the TW module antennas mounted on my FrSky X20Pro external connectors showing the rf output from both the FSK and Lora sides of approx 11-12dB. I then did another video and put the antennas back onto the TW module and mounted the module on my FrSky XE. Again I used the strength meter to check the FSK & Lora outputs. One side was at 11-12dB gain and the other side was at -3dB.
I would have put the videos up on the next page but they were both much bigger than 20Mb.
