Warranty Replacement Request – Motor Failure and Crash
Dear Unmanned Tech Support Team,
I am reaching out regarding an issue with my drone, which appears to be a manufacturing defect.
During a flight at a low altitude of approximately 1–2 meters, one of the motors suddenly stopped working, causing the drone to crash. When I approached the drone, I noticed smoke coming from it and a strong burning smell, indicating a possible short circuit.
Given these circumstances, it seems to be a factory defect, and I kindly request a warranty replacement or repair. Please let me know the next steps and any information you may need from me.

Thanks for taking the time to send us DVR of your flights. From the 2 videos I watched, everything seems absolutely perfect. Video is crisp and clean, there is no vibration and the drone doesn’t seem to be doing anything wrong.
Could you send us video from the flight where the drone just fell out of the sky?
If I send either of these videos to iFlight they will tell me the drone is working perfectly.

Hi David, that’s it, at the end of the video, you can see that the connection was lost and the video is no longer there, I added the following video where the motor no longer starts and turns over when turned on

Thank you for that video, it really helps show us what the issue is clearly, I have sent this over to Iflight to request a replacement ESC as I think that is where thee issue is, and I will update you as soon as we hear back. If we do not have any updates within a few days, we will escalate this case further to get it resolved for you!

Hi, is it any updates, I’m planning to go on holiday and the plan was to buy this drone and to use there, but for the moment this story taking too long and not looking for this to happen.

Sorry about the delays in getting back to you, Iflight are not willing to accept that the issue is 100% a factory fault, but rather could be something related to settings, or motor jamming. So they are willing to offer a replacement ESC at 50% discount. We can cover thee remaining discount as a gesture of goodwill for yoou. So if you would like to take us up on this, please let us know when you place your next order so we can get this sent out to you with that, otherwise you can create an order for this return shipping item and let me know the new order number so I can get that ESC added for you.
Also please confirm the exact model ESC you have in the version of Chimera7 Pro you have just so I can confirm we send you the correct one, as they have changed a few times over the lifecycle of this drone.
