I suspect none of my buttons are working and I have no betaflight osd.

I have set up the drone as I usually do but the drone refuses to arm or turn on/off the leds. So I suspect none of the buttons are working.

To top it off I have no osd in my goggles just the stuff on the right which is dji’s osd.
Ive tested everything from turning features off rebooting and turning them back on. Been in active contact with GepRc support. Watched videos searched the Internet etc.
I haven’t flashed anything as I wanted to report it first.
Got the manual, cli, esc info, diagrams and checked them all.
Everything looks correct in betaflight all controls move and all modes are set. The osd is on and set to HD. Vtx MSP is on uart 1 Serial RX is on uart 2. Serial via uart and crfs are selected. I used my normal ExpressLRS set up in my rc and even made a whole new one too just to make sure, My rc is working with other quads and in betaflight, nothing in betaflightis acting abnormally. I’ve literally given up at this point. Either I’m being thick or there’s an issue.

I can’t see anything obvious at first glance, so I’ve sent through your description and video to GEP and asked one of their engineers to have a look and advise us.

Ive been speaking to them for days. Ive tried goggles 2 goggles 3 updated rc from 3 to the latest refreshed the o4 unit and goggles just in case. Loaded osd preset tried a different rc. They asked me what flags were showing I told them none just the one msp when plugged in and his reply was. I literally need to learn more about basic fpv and suggested I was trying to arm while still plugged into betaflight. :joy: Im getting nowhere with them. Ive set it up correctly theres definitely something wrong. Ive spent days trying to get it to work.

They contacted me early hours today and asked me to update reviever and flight controller I will do this this evening. Shouldn’t really have to but I’ll do it to keep them communicating.

I had an email back from GepRC, this was their recommendation:

About LED switch please set your remote joystick to switch the LED on or off __Here’s the tutorial

About there is no osd in your goggle Please set OSD page of bateflight and draw OSD elements on the middle of screen to try Check the Goggle setting as well

Can you try these recommendations and let me know the outcome. Then I can let them know what the result were and we take it from there.

I had already done both of these, im just upbout to update fc and reciever as they’ve asked, i didnt have time yesterday. Ill let you know how it goes. They are treating me like a newbie. I had bardwell check my settings just incase as well as you saw my video. I know its set up correctly and im beggining to get a little peed off with him now. GepRc seem to turn it on the customer when they cant provide a solution. I read their feedback on trustpilot and Andy seems to do this regularly.

I do apolgise on behalf of GepRC for your feelings towards this, I really am sorry.

I think as standard they try to cover the very basics first as a large number of their clients are very new to FPV and they do deal with genuine “newbie” issues constantly. Than been said, I can see this is not the case here, I will try my best to get this resoloved for you as quickly as possible.

I don’t blame you at all you’ve been more than helpful, It’s just the fact he’s been incredibly rude and only started replying again after you messaged him. I still didn’t get to flash the fc yesterday, life got in the way but I’ll get it done ASAP.

Finally today I had a day off and have just flashed the flight controller. The cli is done and its back to factory settings unfortunately theres absolutely no change. I will strip it down and check the wiring although I shouldn’t have to but after that theres nothing more I can do I’m done and so frustrated.

Am I sending it with the o4 in it or shall I remove it ? The aerial extensions are not going to be easy to take apart it will almost definitely break them. Please advise.
