Hii…

I’m building a S500 quad…I’m new to this so I could surely use your help

Do the EMAX BLHeli 30A OPTO ESCs work with APM??..are there any issues with these ESCs not working with APM ?
((As they don’t work with Pixhawk without some modifications…if I’m right?))

Will the ‘DYS XSD 30A ESC’ or ‘LittleBee 30A ESC’ or ‘Aikon SEFM 30A ESC’ or any similar esc which have “BLHeli_S” firmware, work with low kv motors (700~850kv) ??

Or could you suggest a better 30A esc for my multirotor…(with “Blheli” or “Blheli_s” firmware only)??

I’m planning to use the EMAX MT2216 810kv motors…are these motors good?

Or could you suggest me a really good brushless motor around 700~850 kv ??

Hi

I’m putting together an S500 too. I am using a BR2216 810kv engine pack from Racermaster because I won from banggood. But the EMAX are very good, great choice.
I have another S450 frame with the EMAX BLHeli 30A OPTO ESC in APM, no problems, but think Racerstar MS Series 25A ESC BLHeLi_S OPTO 2-4S Supports Oneshot125 Oneshot42 Multishot (this works finest im APM and PIXHAWK.
DYS XSD 30A ESC ‘,’ LittleBee 30A ESC ‘and’ Aikon SEFM 30A ESC I have not tested it yet.
Summary: my S500: BR2216 810KV from Racerstar, sc MS 25A from Racerstar, and PIXHAWK as controller.
