I have a ufl to SMA antenna lead that is way too long for my EMAX Hawk 5. I’d like to shorten it - is this a simple job, or am I asking for trouble?
Buy a shorter one would be by suggestion…
You could cut an end and refit but antenna’s need a really good job done to them or they leak RF and just don’t work like they should.
That was my thought Doomed; I’d sort of guessed that doing a refit would not be as good a job as buying a shorter lead.
