Walksnail Avatar VRX Digital HD FPV Receiver (Comparability with Farshark Hd3 analog Goggles)

Hi, i’m looking to go Hd after flying with analog for some years. I’m looking at the Walksnail Avatar VRX Digital HD FPV Receiver. I wanted to check if my farshark Hd3 analog Goggles will be good enough and compatible together to work with the walksnail VRX. Or if you direct me to something else, many thanks Vinn,

Hello there,

The Walksnail Avatar VRX Digital HD FPV Receiver can be used with analog goggles with an HDMI input. Here’s how it relates to your Fat Shark HD3 goggles:

Compatibility Overview1. HDMI Input Requirement: The Walksnail VRX features an HDMI output, which means it can connect to any FPV goggles or monitors that have an HDMI input. The Fat Shark HD3 goggles do have an HDMI input, which mean you should be able to use the walksnail VRX with your goggles, you will just need to figure out a way to mount them onto the goggles.

  1. Mounting, you will need to figure out some mounting option to add the VRX unit to the front of the goggles, or have a longer HDMI cable with the VRX mounted on a tripod

Recommendations- Recommended Goggles: For optimal performance I would suggest you upgrade to actual digital goggles like the Walksnail Goggles X, or Goggles L as users find the VRX does not perform as well as a fully integrated walksnail VRX unit due to some added latency

Hope this helps!

Best,

Isel :slightly_smiling_face:
